Scope
This page sets out how BlogReach meets the UK GDPR and EU GDPR for anyone in the UK or the European Economic Area. It sits alongside our privacy policy rather than replacing it.
TechAbout LLC is the controller. Write to [email protected] for any request under this page.
Why we are allowed to process your data
- Contract — running your account, orders, payouts and support. Without this we cannot provide the service.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the marketplace secure, preventing fraud, attributing partner referrals, and monitoring delivered links.
- Legal obligation — accounting and tax records.
- Consent — marketing email, which you can withdraw at any time without affecting anything else.
Your rights
We answer within one month. We do not charge for a request unless it is repetitive or excessive, and we will say so before doing anything.
- Access a copy of your data.
- Rectify anything inaccurate.
- Erase data we no longer need — subject to the financial records described below.
- Restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
- Complain to your supervisory authority. In the UK that is the ICO.
Where erasure stops
Orders, payments, wallet ledgers, placements and disputes are retained as financial and audit evidence and cannot be erased on request. They record money moving between you and another party, who has their own claim on that record.
We will delete or anonymise everything outside that: profile details, messages, marketing preferences and support history.
International transfers
We operate from the United States and use the processors listed in our privacy policy, some of which are outside the UK and EEA. Transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard offered by that provider.
Automated decisions
Nothing on the platform makes a legally significant decision about you automatically. Site scores and seller trust scores are calculated automatically, but a person decides whether a listing is approved and a person decides every dispute.
Breach notification
If a breach is likely to risk your rights we notify the supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware, and tell you directly where the risk is high.
